On Thursday 24 September Masithandane turned 14! We enjoyed a day of fun and excitement with the local community.




Sadly, our Power for the Girls event will be postponed to next year. Our first teenage girl workshop, aimed at empowering our youngsters and aiding in their personal development. Come and experience a day of wonderful discovery. First hundred girls get a pamper pack!
It’s almost time for the Slow Festival and this year Mr Browne will be doing the honours! Please join us for a fun evening.

Eden Kite Festival: We’re super excited about this year’s Kite Festival. We’re including George and Knysna and having it during the summer holidays. This is our BIG CHILDREN’s BURSARY FUND event of the year. You can read more about the Bursary Project here. Please come and support us 🙂
Barn Dance 2019: Put your dancing shoes on, bring the whole family and show us what you’ve got!
The Crossing: Join us for this remarkable one-man show and support our roof repair efforts. It’s an eye-opening and touching experience. See you there!

THANK YOU to all the people involved in making the Watershed Concert a very successful fundraising event for Masithandane. Watershed was very well supported and we thank you all. Thanks to Sedgefield Brewery, Cathy Birkett for accommodation, Engen 1Stop Sedgefield, Scarab Village Sedgefield, IT HUB, Sedgefield Radio, The EDGE Community Newspaper, Pick n Pay Sedgefield, to the Lion’s who came out in force and all the volunteers who assisted this event. Proceeds from the evening mounted to R10 113 and will be used for the HUG Care and Respite Centre. Thank you.

Out of the Bin Competition – 20 April 2019
