The Governing Board forms the Management Committee to oversee all projects. The Board meets monthly and all members are allocated portfolios.

Reports submitted to the Board monthly include:

  • Human Resources Management
  • Health and Safety
  • Finance and Legislative compliance
  • Programme development and project implementation
  • Art and Craft Job Creation
  • Cherish Programme
  • Community Care Work

Policy development is ongoing on a needs basis.

Masithandane takes its mission and governance role very seriously:

“to serve the community where it is needed the most, especially those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS and TB”. 


All aspects of project performance are monitored on a regular basis.

All funding is accounted for separately.

The annual financial statements are subjected to review by an independent registered auditor.
